Problem :
When i try to read some emails in outlook 2010 it crashes. it's only when I read the message but I think it only happens for a certain type of message but as i can't view the message i don't know what common denominator is involved.
Solution :
I was experiencing issues where Outlook 2010 would crash when clicking on certain emails (from certain people) or when clicking on File (from the Menu bar). This only occurred when Outlook was connected. When Outlook was offline, it would work fine.
The following modification resolved the issue:
1. Disconnect the computer from the network
2. In Outlook, select File > Options
3. Select Contacts
4. In the Online status and photographs section, untick Show user photographs when available (requires restarting Outlook 2010)
5. Click OK
6. Restart Outlook
