Fix Email Stuck in Outlook 2010 Outbox Error

Problem :

First let me say that I use Outlook 2010 and for the most part I am VERY happy with it. But yesterday I was sending emails with attachments and 4 out of the 8 that I sent are still stuck in the outbox. If I send other emails that do not have attachments it is still taking a long time for them to go through. I have now had to go to my hotmail account to send mail (which is what I did not want to do since I use Outlook) so that it can bypass the stuck emails. Is there a way to move/delete something to get them gone so that I can send mail like before?

Solution :

Based on the current situation, this issue can be caused by several factors, such as Internet connection, Outlook settings or corrupted outlook profile. We can try the following methods to see if the problem can be resolved.

Method 1:

====================

Click the “Send/Receive” tab, then click “Send all”.

Method 2: New Outlook profile

==============

1. Exit Outlook.

2. Go to Start > Control Panel, click or double-click Mail.

Mail appears in different Control Panel locations depending upon the version of the Microsoft Windows operating system, Control Panel view selected, and whether a 32- or 64-bit operating system or version of Outlook is installed.

The easiest way to locate Mail is to open Control Panel in Windows, and then in the Search box at the top of window, type Mail. In Control Panel for Windows XP, type Mail in the Address box.

Note The Mail icon appears after Outlook starts for the first time.

The title bar of the Mail Setup dialog box contains the name of the current profile. To select a different existing profile, click Show Profiles, select the profile name, and then click Properties.

3. Click Show Profiles. Choose Prompt for a profile to be used.

4. Click Add.

5. Type a name for the profile, and then click OK.

6. Start Outlook, and choose this new profile.

7. Try to send the emails in the new profile

Fix Outlook 2010 Not Responding Error

Problem:

I have installed Microsoft Office on a Windows 7 machine. I have started to have problems with Outlook 2010 not responding. Usually this happens if you are moving around outlook, jumping from one message to another or when you hit F9 for a send and receive. Task Manager does not allow an "End Process" of Outlook.exe. I have to reboot to get Outlook to end. When restarting the computer, the "logging off" screen never closes and I have to do a hard re-boot.
I have re-started in safe mode and have started Outlook in safe mode. When starting in safe mode I get this error message "Microsoft Office cannot verify the license for this application. A repair was attempt failed or was canceled by the user. The application will now shut down".

Solution:

You've installed either Office X4 Standard with the Corel WordPerfect MAIL 12 component or installed Corel Office Professional, & manually installed the Corel WordPerfect MAIL 12 add-on Office X4 component as a download. Even if you un-install the Corel Office X4 Standard or the Professional or the Corel WordPerfect MAIL 12 products, the problem is still not rectified at all. The solution is to completely re-install Windows 7 upon a clean install & don't use the old Corel Office X4 suites in question at all upon Win7 if using the latest Windows 7 operating system with the Microsoft Office 2010 products installed, as these old Corel Office X4 products are not Microsoft Office Outlook 2010 or Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 compliant.

Also do observe the following:>

Just use the latest Office 2010 RTM products. Then do the following: As you setup Outlook 2010 to work for the first time, there you'll need to input your correct ISP settings for either a pop3/IMAP 4 email accounts that you use. Also If the settings are not done correctly, you'll experience those problems you were having. - This depends upon how you setup your ISP settings within Outlook 2010, then also do remember to send yourself the test message that's displayed within Outlook 2010 there before completing your E-mail accounts settings within Outlook 2010 as this is to check that everything is in order with Outlook 2010! - If the test message does not get done correctly, then you have an ISP pop3/IMAP e-mail settings issue!

Also, do take the following into concideration:> Your chosen Virus Scanner that you use for Windows 7 / Vista etc. - Please do try to either use the Microsoft Security Essentials http://www.microsoft.com/security_essential/?mkt=en-us (you'll need to select the download possibly twice to actually get their download), or just use the Panda Global Security 2010 as both these products do work fully with all the Microsoft Office 2010 products.

The following virus scanners does clash with Outlook 2010 and also with Outlook 2007 as well. Becareful if & when using these anti-virus / virus scanners:> F-Secure 2009, Trend Micro Internet Security Pro 2010, Norton 360 v3x series. If using F-Secure Internet Security 2010 or a previous version, then pay attention to this:> If your system has any form of a nVIDIA Ion/GeForce Graphics Cards installed, then F-Secure will auto un-install all your nVIDIA drivers + any of the Ion/GeForce software that was installed by nVIDIA and it will also block these drivers as a problem, (this means you'll have no correct nVIDIA graphics drivers, so don't use it if you have any nVIDIA graphics card upon your computer/notebook system! Trend Micro will clash with Outlook 2010 if your Trend Micro settings are not correctly configured, so best to avoid that if using Outlook 2010.

Lastly, you may beta test out any of the various anti-virus 2010 scanners available, but do so at your own risk!

Fix Office 2010 Installation Problem osetup.dll

Problem :

While trying to install Office 2010 Pro I receive the following error immediately after running setup.exe "OSETUP.DLL digital signature does not validate or is not present". I have done several internet searches and see this problem has been around since Office 2007.

Solution :

I had the same issues are reported above. I re-downloaded the ISO image from Microsoft licensing website and indeed the official ISO and its OSETUP.DLL was extracted without the Digital signature check and the installation cannot go further. Either from the ISO onto DVD or extracted to a folder(using ISO Extract tool), same issue.

To fix it, I had to search on my local computer for an existing OSETUP.DLL. I had one from Office 2007 setup. I found many versions on my computer in cache folders or installed version or temp files. Possibly some of them might do the job.

I had installed the temporary Certificate from Microsoft. Now, funny enough, each OSETUP.DLL file I check is "Signed". Would it be linked to a missed file association/version check that fails without the certificate installed (valid until march 2011)?

Fix Office 2010 Installation Error Code

Problem :

A few weeks ago I bought a Dell 560 Inspiron computer running Windows 7 Home Premium and Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Business. It seems that whenever I reboot the computer Office 2010 comes up with a message box wanting the Office 2010 Product Key. It does this every time I reboot the computer. What can I do to prevent this from happening all the time.

Solution :

The Office program should be pre-installed by the computer manufacture, and it is a trial version.

If you want to continue using it, purchase a retail key for the same version and edition of the Office product, and convert the trial version to the full version by entering the key.

To purchase, go to: http://www.microsoft.com/office/offers/default.mspx

Or, contact Microsoft sale department by the information from the link: http://store.microsoft.com/Help/Contact-Us

To convert, try this:

=========

1. Click the Office Button in the upper left corner of the Office applications.

2. Select Options (e.g., Word Options).

3. In the resulting dialog box, select Resources.

4. Select Activate Office and follow the prompts from there. Have your product key ready.
